Is the heart on her cheek(? spelled right) supposed to be make up or a tattoo?

It's makeup. As an aside, in the last episode of CBC's "Second Jen", the character Mo put a heart on her check for "Asian night" (a party they had because Jen's first generation immigrant Chinese mom said Jen had forgotten her culture), and it scared me. Mo is a funny and likable character (Fillipina/Chinese 2nd gen Canadian), but that heart on her check made me think of Killing Stalking. Thank heavens Mo spent most of the party playing video games in her room with a harmless Canadian nerd who could not stab anyone without saying, "sorry." I felt no urge to protect Jieun, but I want to protect Mo. I am strange about which fictional characters I like.

So the heart--I think it's a kind of cute trendy makeup a certain generation may use for fun, particularly in China or Korea. At least, that's what I think based on a Canadian sit com. :)

PS cheek is the right spelling. I let auto-fill go too much because I type badly.
