TBH im reading what youre writing, but chan il should probably just watch his fat orange head and keep it to himself. mfw i ignore context clues on someone being in severe distress, so much so that my significant other (from what I know, is a friend of theirs (mfw my significant other has friendships with people outside of myself)) went to go check if they were okay (quote "YOURE KIDDING" "sorry I HAVE to go") and see that my friend is much more detached than usual, and also i saw his dad fucking beat him.
mfw i see all of that, and rather than asking MY girlfriend about it and THEN asking him if she says "its personal", i go and have a fucking meltdown in front of someone with puffy eyes and a note from the nurse to leave the fucking building, and rather than asking "hey, whats up man, i saw this, and youve been acting distant. id like for you to explain", i start slamming shit, yelling, and grabbing his wrist.
i have absolutely no defense for chan il. skylar with the whole "yeah youre second choice" is a TOTAL DICK MOVE, like, hes a complete dickhead for that and i demand an apology with tears for that one, but i understand it bc he is severely unwell in the head. Chan Il has what, a savior complex and a loving family?? yeahhh youre not getting a pass for this one you narcissistic douche

“chan il should probably just watch his fat orange head and keep it to himself” CRazy
My only excuse and hope is that they’re all teens. Chan-il’s words aren’t justifiable but it’s understandable in a way because he’s been fed up with Cirrus avoiding him. I BET he’s more mad about something else than seeing his girlfriend with Cirrus.
And yeah I cringed at the part where he smashed something. Totally unnecessary! I don’t think Chan-il can connect two dots, cause he overheard someone on the other side of the phone crying and Ri-in told him she will explain later.
Chan sees the two together and his first assumption is them having something. This really got me disappointed to be honest, shows that Chan isn’t the most secure and friendly person we thought.
I wonder how Skylar will react when he finds out, will he defend Chan? This is probably also why Cirrus wouldn’t rely on Skylar or tell him because Skylarstill hasn’t cleared up the air about him liking Chan sti.
I think the rift between Chan and Cirrus could be avoided had Cirrus not shut him out (but it’s his choice so Chan shouldn’t keep pestering him and taking his anger out on him).
I think we all know Chan is not really too mad about seeing Ri-in with his friend. But possibly more mad because Cirrus has been shutting him out, and then Chan sees the friend that’s ghosting him with his girlfriend. And Chan cares for him, just the way he talked to Cirrus recently wasn’t right, but I’m sure he cares a lot.
Like someone said, Cirrus should have at least told Chan that there’s nothing romantic or sexual between him and Ri-in or just let Chan know that it’s because of home problems and he’s not ready to say yet.
But I get that Cirrus is also irritated and purposefully didn’t say it to ease Chan’s insecurity because Cirrus was in a rush and clearly upset before Chan even confronted him. And got more upset when he was stopped by Chan.
Cirrus is probably like: Why ask me about this when you can ask your girlfriend? I have somewhere to be, and you’re stopping me for this?
It could be that his dog Candy died like another said. Or home issues where his father is threatening, etc. I’d be angry too if I was stopped.
