So they could be like friend from the same district or something. And they separated when the mother moved to the duchy in order to marry….hope it’s right

I just wonder whether that was the FL or the "Original Camilla"... bc Original Camilla and Laila had the worst relationship as teenagers (At the end of chapter 18 we learn teenage Og Camilla even kidnapped and tried to off blondie!) So unless Og Camilla did a SPECTACULAR 180 flip once reaching adolescence, I think that must have been our FL, instead, somehow... but still hard to tell, since our FL was already living "Lee Sia's" life by the time Lee Sia's mom died when she was 7 ys old, so... the math doesn't quite add up *scratching my head here*

Yes, true. But I saw some stories, where like they were friend when young, then one move into nobility, and because the family environment is horrible, she/he becomes twisted and forgets her/his past. Like they forget in order to make them believe they were nobility from the start, and they are in denial of their “origins”. Or they treat her/his happy memories as a long lost dream/longing…Maybe?
