We're not really building up to any main goal so everything feels aimless and scattered this is greater emphasized by the story putting attention into new characters and characters we know little to nothing about other than their relationship to the main cast leading to a lot of disinterest unless you're a diehard fan. Overall it would've been better if they called these sides instead of part of another season of the main story because nothing actually happens to the greater story just essentially slice of life of the cast.
They were hinting about the holy empire backing up the ml's traitor brother since the pope is from aragon too also they were talking about a hint regarding bianca's marriage to the 2nd prince which the pope planned or smth which also kinda confusing rn coz they were not focusing on that matter and they just decided to shove some random girls in here i wish they stick to it so we could get more suspense , although im really full rn with the wholesomeness of the characters but I just wish they stick on to that so some of the unanswered questions will get into the light.
I kinda thought they resolved some of that religious conflict with the season one epilogue where they signed a peace treaty that bianca was present for.
I kinda thought too but they left so many possibilities, I'm pretty sure the ml's brother is still alive since they never found the body or they just "fuck it he chose to fall to that river and he died) after their last encounter.
I was shipping sir soveur and lucy , damn man :< and idk where the story is going but I'll prolly stop in here coz i lost my interest in continuing it, it was good until the 2nd prince died and alec was born.
