Nice theory, but this type of light manhwa is usually presented like that. They tend to have interchangeable timelines, short chapters and while they have a general plot as a whole, there’s usually a lot of subplots (that ends in just one chapter)

So a theory suddenly pops out in my head. Maybe the reason why the pacing of the story is interchanging, sometimes we're in child mc age flashback then we go to adult mc age flashback is because of this theory of mine on why author presents it like this:
MC in child era is both a flashback and is how the wolf father still view our puppy mc, just a child he vows to care and protect. So in a way we are reading the wolf father's point of view in the present timeline.
MC in adult era is both the present timeline as well as our MC's point of view where he starts to became conscious of his desire for his wolf daddy figure.
Further to my theory is when we no longer have any or just minimal child mc flashback is when the wolf daddy starts to finally recognize our present timeline MC as a fully grown adult and not just his child that he took precious care of (not sure if it will be romantic tho)
