I think it's just bad writing at this point? like author wants this plot line so bad. would it really make sense to like or pine over someone for a year, and then suddenly when ur tgt, u can't trust them?? comparing them all the time with ur ex? i get it, his ex is an asshole, but I'd think he would've observed Jio that whole year and deduced he isn't that kind of guy or smth. I hope this doesn't drag on for long haha
can't say for now, haha, maybe its just that things are too good to be true in his pov that he can't help but look for something negative to rationalize the situation? its like he can't see that he too deserves to be happy despite his past, not so sure, and yeah, hoping for things to escalate for the better in the coming chapters,
mhm, his trauma is making him sabotage his own relationship and he cant see past that right now. i just rly hope this doesnt turn toxic bc it had a really wholesome beginning :/
