This is so true, like calling her a bitch in a comment just because of her little bad attitude towards her sister she's just unsecure and jealous she's a child that needs guide and assurance.
Right? Like the double standards are INSANE here… literally not even a few chapters ago Minato and Mikoto had the exact same issue but nobody’s talking about that because they reconciled.. Why can’t they think the same for these sisters??
seeeee you get it! because my original comment was going to point out how female characters always get hated more for the same behaviors male characters exhibit, but i didn't want people trying to fight about it in my replies lmaoo

No you’re totally right. It just struck to me that people will always hate a female character no matter what the cause is. I don’t condone what she’s done because her actions are unruly but literally Minato and Mikoto, same issue just different ages and genders. That’s all
the hate she's getting is insane mind you, she's a child. and considering her circumstances, it's very easy to see how she became insecure about her place in the family, and how that insecurity turned into resentment.
nobody ever wants to try and understand these kinds of characters simply because they arent going through extreme trauma, but that doesn't make her feelings any less valid, especially since she's already in that rough period of life (middle school years). then you think about all the ither changes in her life like her father being ill and her mother having to work a lot. there's so much going on around her.
she just needs somebody to reach out, talk to/with her, and grnuinely understand her, which i'm sure will happen since this series is wholesome.
