What they meant was that in the classroom when everyone died, MC was a spider just chilling in the ceiling but happens to get caught in the reincarnation cataclysm. So MC was neither student nor human back on earth, just a spider. And D planted her memories and identity to MC to make her and everyone think "Wakaba Hiiro" reincarnated as well. (〜￣△￣)〜

From what I’m understanding from the entire manga and some spoilers I think wakaba could possibly be “D” hence why that black knight dude said “she is oddly similar to D” and probably because it is her but in the past but at the same time I don’t get how because her soul got reincarnated here as a spider and ascended to like a god like also become a administrator but D is able to talk to them which is weird because they might maybe have split souls but I don’t think it’s possible or could be as long as more chapters are coming out translated keeping up with more of what happen to them
