Love the way you put that. Because I don't find this typical. According to how it's executed. But just going by what happened, yes, I can see how one would believe that. And I agree, i HATE the torment omegas are put through, as well!
I have a love and hate relationship with omegaverse... I LOVE IT but it sometimes feels like the same types of stories over and over again... wait... that's yaoi in general... lol nevermind then.
No, but really, a lot of the story is typical and predictable... But I'm just talking about what happened in the 4 chapters... The ending will probably not go along with my initial thoughts...
