So the mc (yumin) and ml (hyeondo) both broke up with their now exes but are still yearning for them. Yumin and hyeondo decide to go on fake dates together and make their exes jealous and to show them that they are fine/happy without them.
Oh if it was about the latest chapter:
Hyeondo was saying mean things on purpose to his ex and that hurt her. But seeing his ex unhappy also made him unhappy, because he still cares about her.
so yumin’s intervention was appreciated because he stopped saying mean things to his ex

I get it now. The one i don't get is why fl wants her ex back he doesn't even love her (ALL HE FEELS FOR HER IS GRATITUDETHAT HE "NEEDS" TO PAY). And so is ml's ex. SHE'S JUST USING HIM LIKE A CALL BOY DO THIS DO THAT WTF
She loved him from the start but he didn't. So, she wants to show him she's happy with another man to either :
1. Trigger some jealousy and hopefully he'll realise he did have feelings for her, or
2. Nothing happens, it comforts her in her decision to break things off and she's hurt again
