Am I the only one who has no idea wht is happening in this chapter 💀💀

From what I gathered Shiina’s father got riled up at the mention of Sasaki (as in Sasaki’s father) last chapter, and this chapter expands on it. Shiina’s mother explains that it’s because both Sasaki and Shiina liked her in high school and fought over her. I think these memories lead Shiina’s father to tell him to go after the one he loves so he doesn’t lose them (Sasaki in this case).
The rivalry between the two fathers seems to be more of friends being competitive with each other, at least that’s how I see it. I hope this clears things up even a little bit
