So the French guy is getting bullied. They go to a party and the French guy comes with a gun and shoots at everyone and Brett happens to stand in front of him .... and of course Hayden throws himself between him and the Bullet and gets shot ... they fall to the ground and we can see Hayden bleeding from the shoulder and that was it
Otherwise I think Hayden panicks because he realises he feels more for Brett ... that also happens in the next chapters
