Honestly, I fw w the manga heavy. Ove enjoyed the show alot, especially the ending (which so many people misinterpreted bc they lack of cultural understanding). The manga eas goated, compared to the anime
I wanna read the devilman crybaby manga but I can't search for it and don't know it's japanese name.

I would not be upset if you recommended other stories with the same dynamic and narrative relevance as their relationship. I would consider Kaworu and Shinji's EVA relationship as on par with theirs.
