Guys I get that he is a gangster and a loan shark so they need threats to make sure the debtor pay back,
But it also doesn't erase the fact that he sounds like a sex trafficker and a pimp. He has a horrible backstory, but it doesn't make the opening of the story any less horrible
I'm re reading this currently on chapter 5, but I couldn't brush off the idea that the ML is a loan shark that forces innocent children of the debtor to be prostitutes. Just a pimp and it makes me so uncomfortable. I have to re read this again to see if I misread this
