It was clear from the very start that even after agreeing he still had his doubts and did not want to go through with their agreement but due to fear because of the clear power imbalance (financially, physically and socially) between Dan and Jaekyung he is unable to retaliate. Proper Consent especially in regards to sex can only be given if both parties involved are on equal footing with there being no coercion or force involved, be it physical or mental.
