It’s because there’s literally no rising action. There should be no reason 30 chapters into the story there’s no imminent threat or antagonist. It’s like we’re just watching the characters hang out.
I can’t even consider the romance the rising action because they’re basically already a couple, there’s nothing in the way of their romance.
The shit is boring af

I think it's also the fact that they quickly resolve a thing and leave no room for growth of the characters. There's hardly any climatic moment of the plot. And when things get quickly resolved they try to add another issue spontaneously, and handle it so quick. It's like having to many quickies in a relationship!

Dude... That girl with the double powers or whatever was very random. It never went into more detail about that. It just doesn't give much about the side couple or even more so about the side characters enough to make the plot make sense.
I swear, this was written by a 19 year old woman with not a lot of experience with relationships and good story telling.
Idk what it is, but something about this story just makes it meh. I think the author tried to put so much in a story, but didn't do it clean enough to the point that it seemed forced, so at that point it got kinda boring.
After they got attacked by those S classes, so much seems to be forgotten and brushed off. The characters are cute together, but honestly, that's the only thing I'm interested in at this point. Everything else doesn't flow well and has WAY too much that it and makes it boring. Also, I give it a 3 star.
