Wanted to leave a comment and say that I completely agreed with your statements. There were many parts of Hangyeol's character that seemed underdeveloped or were at least not properly shown to the readers. Many of his reactions or opinions were seemingly in complete opposition to the actual circumstance he was in. Many parts of his reactions were surface level, with not much depth behind them. And tho he's completely allowed to not share any of his thoughts or actions with people, he has had a friend for 13 years and liked them for 8 years, yet it felt like he didn't even care about this person at all but rather only cared about the "feelings" he had FOR the person. Also the SA as a plot device is shallow and overdone and was a hard read. There were other strong and communicative ways to have executed that scene. That said, it is rumored the author had to end the webtoon abruptly so I'm simply going to mourn that this could have been so much more and that these flaws are simply due to lack of time and development. It is a shame tho.
