I think that level of paranoia is normal like if you saw people being killed in form of you and then it was your turn and the assassin tell you it s your husband ok a piece of her refused to believe that she went to her fiancé castle and what she heard ????? That he was breaking off the engagement anyone will believe that s why he is trying to kill her and any normal person won’t take the risk of being killed knowing the danger is reel ( since she saw other people getting killed ) she did her best. Once you loose trust you can’t easily rebuild it must be hard on her, being kind may also be a way to manipulate to make people put down their guards. BUTTTT It true that the Duke is the ultimate victim here I could never live his life I would’ve snapped a long time ago
Finished this piece of crap story finally. This spineless coward of a woman truly had nothing bad happen to her. She got handed her life on a silver platter...and yet ruined it all by her own hands. She needs to be put in an institution. That level of paranoia isn't normal, is it?
