It definitely hurt my heart too but also I kind of understand from her perspective. She already had a great dad in her first life and it’s a little late for him to be caring and even he knows that. I like the gradual trust and relationship building. After all the orcas choose their family. I see the buds of him caring and I hope they don’t use their misunderstandings as a trope too much.
