It's hard to articulate what it is that annoys me, it just feels like most of this stuff is written by people who think BDSM is just commanding someone else and the other person gets off on it. It most certainly is an aspect of it, just not the entire thing.
That and they always portray subs as being dumber than a box of rocks and I think they are confusing it with how people portray omegas in omegaverse works.

Like, omegaverse makes sense 'cause of how each gender is biologically hardwired. Domsubverse is just a change in sexual inclinations. It has 0 effect on your educational capabilities and yet mangaka/writers tend to make them some of the dumbest characters for 0 reason.
