uhmmm... it's bc she's quite LITERALLY his mom. and celphi is LITERALLY the ML's nephew... by blood... they are related.
The way it was written implied that he was Celphi's dad in my mind. Sorry if I was wrong, but I'm pretty sure anyone would freak out (like I did) if it seemed to them like that was the situation.
