honey hinduism is one of rare cases where homophobia has never been a sin. If you're truly a hindu and want to continue being one, please let go of of these stupid eurocentric notions of sin. Being queer (in this case, consuming queer content/associating with queer ppl) is not a sin regardless of whatever religion or whatever bullshit. Don't wanna offend anyone either but you're so right about hinduism being the rare instance, which many people fail to recognise. Actually ancient sources of history + Hindu mythology has plenty of queer examples. Homosexuality or being trans etc being a sin was never a Hindu thing, it was brought by the Europeans. Same with their idea of modesty (covering your chest and shoulders, though that isn't really relevant here)
It's the way our monuments and ancient temple ruins have carvings of mythological gods and kings entertaining multiple courtesans, male courtesans as a male, women having sex together, transgenders and much more
Our history is very diverse and so are our gods and our mythology. I do not know why people nowadays pretend as if homosexuality is a sin and a very new concept, when it's one of the oldest concepts in our religion.
The people who complain about homosexuality don't really know anything about Hinduism actually, they most likely never even bothered to understand it which is pretty unfortunate. Probably got this idea as civilizations moved on from ancient to late mediaeval period, losing the original meanings and now they conveniently stay in denial to support being homophobic. I mean even gods didn't have any problems so why are people being insufferable? There are evidences of queer history right in front of their faces and they still refuse to acknowledge it has always been a part of us blaming the West that they brought this 'Gay Culture' in India when it was always a thing since the beginning of civilizations.
