Our Hirokawa is suffering from coolphilia (@anna-san calls it, she's a yaoi manga reader here too). Well, though I think Hirokwa is only at stage 1 of coolphilia syndrome lols.

Anyways, I'm sure Yamato will let him be on the top of Adulthood Staircase with flying colors lols

Might also call it Extreme Idol Syndrome, which can manifest in various ways, like believing you have a right to decide over your idol's personal life and choices (e.g. who is worthy of them), and interfering with their lives. Much seen in manga.

Actually, no. Because he was not attempting to decide over an idol's personal life and choices. His OWN personal choices just HAPPENED to affect his idol's choices and life, of course. Thanks.

I was saying the syndrome "can manifest in various ways, like...", which means that everything that follows is an example of how the syndrome might manifest, but is NOT the only one. Getting together with someone and being thrilled to be dating them because they're your idol, but never actually picturing or wanting to have an intimate relationship with them (you'd see them for real), I'd say was another manifestation of Extreme Idol Syndrome.
