it's just Eva convincing Bianca to tell her what happened in the future she foresaw because Eva is miserable right now and she's wondering what could have been if the saint didnt appear and caused Severang to win the war.
details if you wanna read:
- Eva is the illegitimate(?) child of the pope (who was part of the Aragon royal family before he gave it up to enter the church).
- Jacob wanted a marriage of alliance with Aragon but there was no unmarried princesses
- he went to convince (or blackmail rly) the pope to have his hidden daughter be adopted back to the royal family so he can marry her.
- pope wants the war to end and give a better life (status and title) to his daughter so he agreed(?)
- Eva already had someone she loves who apparently married someone else maybe bcos he wanted Eva to leave him and have this supposedly better life
- then Bianca, the saint, appeared, the war is over, and Jacob is dead so this whole thing is for nothing she lost her beloved to someone else and she didnt even get the status and title.
- now she just wanna know what happened in the future where she married the prince
