would be funny if she expected his merchant identity to be in love with his noble identity, and that is why he is biased towards him in doing research. And maybe she wants to find out more about his noble identity (going to another information guild/association for info) so that she could know what he likes. And he would misunderstand thinking that she was in love with his noble personality from doing research, but she actually really just likes HIM. I am dragging this out, but I really am opinionated about this and I like deeper relationship developments that are unique, but because they are both nobles on the outside, it becomes a little bland. Despite that I still love this story and it is one of my favorites lol
That's a fun theory; her not wanting to get in between the "two" of then. It makes him his own worst enemy and wingman
i know this wont happen but it would be cute if she fell in love with his merchant identity instead of his noble identity. sort of like a mlb type thing. it would also explain why she refuses his advances as a noble but would show she likes him for his personality and expertise thats similar to hers. idk i started thinking this way after reading the latest update because she was talking about how awesome he is to work with.
