About 100 chapters in, not done but close to the final stretch. I'd say it was mid with many frustrating arcs. The premise is amazing, I love the idea of trying to defy a fated death, and the twist of her having to sell help from the very beginning from someone who is supposed to not just kill her but actually eat her, is a fire idea. But after that it sort of fizzles out from there. The plot doesn't really do anything with that, despite it being the whole premise of her actions and the story, until nearly 90 chapters in.
Mild spoilers but the only time we even see anything related to him potentially acting on it, while I understand why it might be terrifying for her, as a reader I felt completely disengaged. It felt like there was no threat at all. Perhaps it's done better in the novel but the manhwa hasn't really portrayed it well every time he's supposedly threatened her. And the few times it was portrayed, it was brushed off so quickly that there was no time to sit and think about it or time given to breathe and reflect on what he's done. Because of that, I haven't felt any tension in regards to her fate after early on.
So, final thoughts, it's mid. Frustrating because there's potential and it was left floundering
Can someone tell me if it’s good or bad? I’m having mixed feelings from the comments
