In a later cp the peaple around him made comments about how goodlooking he is so probably the first option
I'm not sure if Enid is actually hot af or if he's just moderately good looking but reeeeeally growe's type (he's got schrodinger's manga face; character could be plain or hot until an extra loudly comments on their looks)
I hope it's the latter bc it makes things 100% funnier to me
