kind of but in a very very ambiguous and roundabout way. they mutually know that each means a lot to each other but seydin knows that this whole love and caring thing is very new to renee so he’s trying to not be presumptuous but also still making moves to make it more obvious to her. it’s only renee that’s kinda been cockblocking herself lol
Plus it also shown in this chapter that Renee literally knows that she HERSELF is the problem since "follow what your heart says" is an alien concept to her lol
