I rarely see any bottoms in yaoi get hated on unless they’re straight up dumb, dont have a backbone, or did something that most ppl dont like; otherwise there’s no reason to even hate on them, even if it’s not your personal taste(like me). I cannot stand when bottoms dont have a backbone, regardless of how they look. Its not really their fault anyways, they don’t write themselves this particular bl is actually written pretty well besides the going in circles and miscommunication between mc and ml, I don’t know WHERE lululove got the idea to say that ppl would hate him if he were bottom? Forgot to mention, on the off chance that the bottom didn’t do any of the above, ppl likely dont like them if they’re an “unexpected” bottom(taller than the top, more built than the top, older than the top, etc)
