He does in the distant / near-ish future. As for becoming a romantic interest that remains to be seen, but so far, thick into approaching 600 chapters in the novel, there's no visible romance connection with Jin in sight.

does he get to meet his mage master Valleria again? From the way he describes and talks about her she was someone very special to him. Does anyone know if they meet again? Or if she is the love interest. Since I think everyone so far is a "child" in Jin's eyes.
