Its because even though Euihyun forgiven him he hadn't forgiven himself yet. Now after learning that Euihyun has suffered a miscarriage, the guilt he has been feeling has worsen. In the earlier chapters we already have seen that the guilt is weighing heavily on his mind, he's trying to fix it but he keeps messing it up. Now adding this one up is just cray².
I think the author inserted this scene is to clear up any problems, misunderstanding, blame, and regret that may come in their way in the near future.
And yeah, Taeju really needs a slap from reality or a punch even, or worse a beating from it. Because why end it? They could work it out as partners, but noooooooo - Taeju is just too fucking selfish. Does he think that if he were to end things with Euihyun then he will be grateful and happy? The hell with this man! I hope Eihyun would give Taeju a roundhouse kick on the next chapter, this man really needs to man up.
I hate taeju so much, what you mean “let’s end this?” Euihyun gave you ONE last chance to redeem yourself and here you are saying to end it!? I can’t, I know he blames himself for graping Euihyun (as he should) but RIGHT NOW Euihyun needs all the support that he can get because HE was the one that went through all the shit.
I hated the idea of Euihyun being pregnant by grape, I hated it so much, but a miscarriage!? That I wasn’t expecting, I was just hoping he wasn’t pregnant at all!
Anyways I hope taeju can grow some balls and get a slapping from everyone to grow the f___ up. Euihyun deserves to be happy!
