I still think he was just born a sociopath. His brain is literally wired differently.

I don't think one can be born a sociopath but as a child his brain is still developing I feel like something could have changed the course or something traumatic maybe that got him into it but no one was able to stop him like how juns mom did by throwing him off the roof making him lose his memory and getting to start over

While it can also be caused by trauma, it is 100% possible to be born a sociopath. Like with OCD. You can be born with it, or you can obtain it through severe trauma. I think it's actually more common to be born a sociopath, though I could be mistaken.
Most, like Jin's father, are extremely charismatic. However, they aren't easily stimulated. You and I get a rush if we go on a roller coaster, but a sociopath won't. They need something extreme in order to get that rush, and torture and murder are generally the only things that can give them that rush.

I'm mistakenly using the terms interchangeably. Sociopaths are made, psychopaths are born. We don't know which Jin's father is.

Also note that not ass psychopaths and sociopaths are inherently criminal.
