Why's it disappointing? They've been foreshadowing this for lime 4 chapters

i think that resolving their issues the way they are now, and working on their relationship they way they are now it's a way more interesting and powerful path they could've taken. it would've showed how they overcome this together, even though they were different. it would've showed the viewers that they learnt about boundaries and self-control, just because they loved each other and they didn't give up at making them both feel comfortable in that relationship. now that he's a dawg too it's kinda.. all resolved. the trigger is no longer there cuz now he'll be able to have babies. the pheromone issue will be easier to control now that they're both the same species. it's kinda.. meh, yk. I was hoping to see them work through this, and find solutions and acceptance just the way they are now, not pull a Twilight movie on the guy and turn him into a dawg.
