She did want to hear. He could've explained to her but he was too depressed he kept blaming himself and thought he didn't deserve her which was why he never explained anything to her face to face. Fl's anger is justifiable and please she was ready to marry him but she just wanted to confirm and did you see the attitude of that red haired emperor. I believe no woman would want to be in laws with him. So she atleast wanted to confirm that if she were to marry into that family her husband should be on her side and as you know she did not get to meet the ml even when she signed marriage papers which clearly sky rocketed her anxiety and saw ml in bad light because she believes ml will never be by her side if she is ever wronged in their kingdom. She was literally treated as an object by her future in laws with no right to choose.

Aight I know now emotionally dumb people aren't my type (talking about ml) fl is justified cuz even in her anger she was waiting for a response, a reason and ml didn't seize the chance but it will be annoying if later they declare ml was under some ban to not say reason for all those absurdity.
