Binged this just now and I really think people should make it to chapter 20 at the very least because it’s quite good. This series isn’t playing all of its cards in the first few chapters, which is kind of nice. The whole twin situation reminds me of The Parent Trap, which involves a similar split up. It’s interesting and I like that MC stands up for herself. Defending both her own honour and her sister’s honour is pretty knightly and doing so with words and not action is more mature and contextually appropriate. The crown prince is kind of sus in how fast he’s moving, but I respect the audacity of openly courting the sister the 2nd prince/empress tossed aside even though she’s from a powerful family. There’s probably some spirit affinity going on too. I also don’t think he’s a doormat because there’s clearly other things going on underneath the hood.
I definitely agree. And chapter 25 definitely gives a bit more insight on his interest with MC. I’m hoping that he’s genuinely kind from beginning to end and doesn’t add to my list of trust issue sources. ( ̄∇ ̄")
