Hyunwoo is genuinely a nice person he just doesn't want to talk to people and he genuinely has feelings for iltak
he abandoned his previous prejudices based on the assumptions that iltak might be hated for being gay even though it wasn't confirmed.
iltak is literally not a good person
he has no moral compass, he's just doing what he has to do to get by. He literally wants to go back to being a delinquent, he's homophobic as hell, he still has his bully mentality from middle school, he just no longer has the body to match it. He is not sorry for how he behaved horribly, he is not sorry that he ruined people's lives, he's not sorry that he's a bad person. So yes, I feel bad for hyunwoo and not iltak. Perhaps if he wasn't an asshole he wouldn't be in the school. It's a school for misfits, right?
