She wanted him to feel hurt about losing her without him knowing how hurt she was, even now the thing she wants its for him to genuinely show that he likes her, in this case feeling jealous of her being with someone else, and she would never really know it if she had told him what she heard
ngl that first chapter was so corny. not sure why she thought faking being a stuck up jerk would somehow be better than just straight up dumping him for her very valid reasons but let’s see how this goes
