Megi's ending was too kind. Him being alive is such a slap in the face. I suppose if you've lived long enough, transgressions are something you don't really take seriously? I mean, the stuff he did sounds like hell on earth what with all the rampant abuse in all forms. But, he gets mind wiped and all is redeemed? Maybe that IS punishment for them?

Cmon. Help me out here. I want him dead. Please tell me how him ending this way makes sense in their vamp world.

i think their immortality is already a punishment, they’re also desensitized to everything, emotions and even their tastebuds, that’s why En who recently turned and has human like emotions is so refreshing to them. 1) death is something megi wishes for, or doesn’t mind, and 2) Megi has already been in vampire prison where he was kind of tortured, and it didn’t faze him that much. So it seems there is no way to punish him, they can only make him unable to commit more crimes by overriding with a new fresh consciousness ? idk we’ll see in the next volume where we can learn more abt their kind probably

I don't know how you got redemption out of that scene? Me.

It’s a redemption for megi technically since he doesn’t even have to face the consequences of his actions. He gets to live in bliss ignorance
