This is my take so not saying its true. Basically Magi guy is an old vampire with very diluted venom, he wants to be purified and so he created a harem. Basically all of the harem drinks from him and he drinks from them. Maybe the more blood drink the more refined it gets? Ichii is from the harem, tha Magi guy has brain washing powers and so he wanted out. He poisoned magi but coz he detected it quick, before it got to his system he had the rest of the harem except icchi drink his blood so instead of him dying the harem did. I am not sure if he would have died anyways. Dunno if this makes sense to yo lol ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
