It's the king's aide. He throws Tae in the sea or smth and then Tae gets his memories after fully actually absorbing the orb and then he uses the dragon's power to free himself from some spirits that drag him down and the dragon comes and saves him (since not only was he in a body of water but also bc their souls are now tied)
