Funny thing is, she's not the original author of the original work. She's a fanfic author who hated the idea of Philomel, aka villainess from the original game, ending up not dead and just living her life with her mage tower fam. So, she writes a version with such a bad ending for Philomel that it became popular. So popular in fact that fans liked it that it was considered canon.

Fake Ellencia is GROSS AF. Moments like this when she looks so dejected at the Emperor's attention to Philomel is just....ICKY. As if she had any right to feel sad and depressed when she's not even the real Ellencia. THE FRIGGUN AUDACITY. I wanna kick her in the shins and punch her in the gut. All this just coz her petty ass doesn't like the Philomel character in an otome game. THE NERVE OF THIS FAKE ASS BITCH
