Thanks to flomillishithoe for spoiling but if your mindset is still to befriend someone wholly, completely, morally bankrupt that she'd gaslight, manipulate, cheat and whatever else to hurt you and you still want to befriend her....than MC deserves all the shit she went thru
It's one thing to experience all that and not know you were being gaslit but it's another thing to still be so open at the possibility of that continuing to happen because you stull want to he friends....I just can't excuse that anymore. She's a grown adult. She KNOWS bitch is bad news. But damn. Still wants to be in her life. Probably cycle of abuse and all that but I honestly don't know what the author was trying to convey with MCs character.
