Well, he did just escape from being serially raped by a woman on orders by his parents.
And he did just run towards Yui after seeing him...so he's out of sorts. Especially, as he was recalling what happened to him and then Yui makes him kiss him in public which is one of Yui's greatest fears because of his parents' abuse.
