What I remember:
- traumatized child MC (brown hair possibly)
- is saved by the duke? And is taken to his house where he has twin boys who try to slowly get to know her/ approach her
- MC spends the first few chapters just scrunched up in the corner to traumatized to trust people & the doctor explains her mental state to the duke saying she went through a lot of abuse and has a lot of trust issues/ needs alot of time to adjust
- MC was abused by the church. So in one scene she gets traumatized by the bathroom bc the marble floor/tub reminds her of the church and the duke is alerted by this and destroys the tub to gain her trust
