armpit?

I don’t have an armpit fetish so like… idk. But there are a few potential reasons I can think of.
One is that in some people, the nerves between the genitals and other parts of the body get mixed up so touching those places can feel good or extra sensitive. Some instances include the soles of the feet, navel, armpits, nipples, and lower lip.
Another, more common reason is that people tend to develop fetishes for things that are taboo in their culture. For people who grow up in very modest communities where the ankles or knees are rarely shown, that can develop into a fetish. Especially if they’re exposed to one of these things during a pivotal time in early puberty, like how Severin developed an obsession with fur coats after his aunt wore one while whipping him in Venus in Furs. Not that anyone here has probably read Venus in furs… uhh never mind. You get it.
