I definitely agree with you on this. After reading the author's notes, I feel sorry for Aeroc. I know he did horrible things, but literally everyone he knows joined forces to punish him. Honestly, it was a punishment up to a certain point (when he lost his money), but after that, it was just unjustified cruelty. Turning him into an omega and then making his life a living hell was really cruel of Kloff and Liuns. Yes, he contributed as well, but they should've just turned him in to the authorities. Directly or indirectly, every person Aeroc trusted participated in his misery.
If he truly regret what he done in 1st timeline as he finally knows the actual reason of why he did that and how much he screwed, he wouldn't let himself back into Aeroc's life in 3rd timeline. He's just selfish and entitled. Aeroc already paid his sin in the 1st timeline as he physically and emotionally tortured beyond repair. That same act of giving himself to those satans just to feel Rapael's pain is the closing of his sin payment. But how about Kloff? He pay nothing for what he done. That out of control Alpha things is not an excuse for him to commit such torture. He just have it easy with slap in the hand.
