she thinks her son is too stupid to just listen to her. With the way she brought him up, if he became king he could just throw a temper tantrum and have his own mother be stripped of her title just because she didn't make him make his own decisions as a king. Would it really? From other nobles I read and historically, the king cannot strip her out of her title just like that he will need approval of several ministers to throw away the empress dowager now if she has control on those ministers then yes that makes the son nothing but a puppet king.
