The worst part isn't even midos selfishness, its the story. Im so sure that it will end up with bottom go like "a youre mido, muah i luv u" and forgives him for EVERYTHING mido has done to him, while mido had to make han suffer first before forgiving him. Like i can't, bc i was waiting till my boy just runs away and leave mido to eat shit, while also chopping his useless dick off, bc apparently midos brain is in there. But the more i read, the more apparent it is that they're going to end up happily together while mido can go karma free and stay with han together.

I never understand why they add unforgivable acts in these stories, expecting readers to overlook and root for a happy ending. I also hate it when the ML is literally the worst and they introduce a second ML, who is quite literally the opposite, who can offer the MC the love, care etc that they deserve but toxic ML is endgame, just becayse he sheds a few tears.

I don't mind reading one where the ML is bad from the get go, example Roses and Champagne, like we were never sold a good boy image of Caesar (I'm still pissed at what he did to the MC), but i like those cos 8/10, the MC serves to bring out the best in them.
But even BLs that have "bad boys" ML's aren't as bad as ones that make the MLs so fucking horrible because of some trauma or misunderstanding caused by "the object of their affection" MC.
I have no love and feel no sympathy for Mido. He grown up to be a bag of shite. I get the thought of being abandoned etc, but why didn't he for a second thinking that maybe something happened to the MC?? He really jumped straight to being abandoned?? Like how do you come to that conclusion when mc has done nothing but be there for him, clearly more than even his parents??? MC has been living to find him but ML decided that it's all about how much HE suffered??? And the logic that the MC should be put through "exactly" what Mido went through, but Mido's past shows that he wasn't abducted, confined, r*aped or drugged??? Off with his head for real. I just carriedon ready to see hiw the big "I'm Mido" reveal would go but i'm dropping this now cos it's trash central. Reminds me if that fucking piece of shit MC from Unscented Trajectory.
