I was regretting missing out on my childhood love story. We were so close to being something real, but life happened, and now we're miles apart with no contact. Sometimes, though, I hear about him—apparently, he's turned into some kind of playboy. Honestly, I'm thankful for the distance. The thought of being with someone for ten years, still deeply in love, only to find out they were just waiting for a perfect opportunity to take their mask off—that hurts more than unrequited love. Oof. #－.－)
