Well this is a slice of life manga.. so it usually showcased very realistic situation in the real world as well..
Hope that you're doing alright and know that I'm proud of u for striving through each day. Sometimes seeing something triggering is usually painful and uncomfortable but it can also provide solace and comaradie.. when I see that the characters with the same situation as me can still find their happiness and reaching their purpose in life, it makes me think that maybe I can do it as well.

I’m fine and happy thanks to the people around me, it’s just when I read something that reminds me of reality it makes me feel a bit upset, but as you said it’s a slice of life so it’s need the realistic touch.
I think one day when Taka is older and able to understand they will tell him about his father and they can interact with each other. I think he does with Hayato besides teaching him math and he does love his sons
It could be agreement the both of them agreed on.
It happens in the Western world as well if the child is too young and can easily get confused and upset so wait til they reach 4 years at least or a bit older
